Education Family Workshops

August 13-14, 11-1pm and 2-4pm each day

What is living in our backyard? Come join us on a field expedition to collect insects from our local park! Build a Burlese funnel in the lab to observe the insects collected. Be a real entomologist and help us identify the insects using real scientific tools. Record all of your findings in a scientific database for others all over the world to see! What will you help discover?

*6 years old and up. This workshop is for active members only. Pre-registration required. We will be offering two of the same sessions on each day. Limited seats due to social distancing. Snacks will be provided. This is a 2 hour workshop located in Lab 2.
